Hi Friends ! Last week Virtually visited another toast master club .
There was a session conducted on "Secrets of Successful Story Writers "
It may be usefull for us when we draft a story in our Speech Content.
Please try to practise a exercise mentioned in this attachment
Just obeserve few minutes out of your window or your home and then try this " One to eight sentence exercise "

Below are some of my takeaways from our informal Webinar on Maximizing on our membership with MMTMC!

--> Show up for our Chapter meetings regularly.
--> Participate in every possible opportunity in meeting
--> Take on a Role in meetings
--> Block Speeches in advance & Prepare well
--> Try to gather all the moments in your life and amplify that to a Speech
--> Learn from every chapter meeting: observe, reflect, apply
--> Send your video link to Mentors and seek for Feedback after your Speech.
--> Ask for feedback at our portal too.
--> Go to other clubs and give Speech.
--> visit clubs with "brutal" evaluation and deliver a Speech
--> Being proactive
--> Just take it light and prepare your speeches and look for topics which will be comfortable for you.
--> Use our Facebook page , Try to Post your reviews , so that the Club will reach out to many peoples
--> Try not to deviate from attending Club meetings.
--> Own the stage.
--> Update your Profile and other details in your Portal
--> Ask and answer Questions in our Portal to gain and share knowledge

Some High level key points from our Informal Sharing Session on 14th April ( 20:30 to 22:00 hrs) to experience Quality Online TM meeting

1) Internet
--> Try to Use Chrome browser
--> Use Tablet /Laptop or Desktop PC, least Preferred is using Mobile
-->Check for your Internet Connection Speed
(Speed test, net ... Upload /Download should be between 8 and 10 megabyte /sec)
-->If possible , use lan cable for stable Connection
-->Wi-Fi Source to be positioned at optimal location in your house to get good signal
-->If you are speaking on that day, at least during your Speech time say 5 to 10 minutes, restrict the no of users in your House tapping the Wi-Fi

2) Audio
Below are things affecting your Audio Quality
--> Fan directly blowing towards Mic.
--> Key board closer to Mic.

3) To have a Good audio
--> Find a quiet Place
--> As closer to your Laptop will be better
--> One arm length between you and Laptop mic is preferred
--> Chrome Browser--> Install Plugin Krisp (Noise cancellation App)

4) Video
--> Avoid drastic movement
--> Position your camera slightly higher than eye level or same as eye level.

5) Lighting
--> Light in front of you to make you brighter.
--> be watchful if you are wearing a Spectacles, it may reflect your light if your light is directly in front of you

6) Speaker to look out while you are in Virtual Stage
-->Look out for your spectacles; it should not distract the Viewers
-->Use chat to engage the people and allot time for engaging in your Speech
-->Use attach mode to attach files , if required
-->Without power point is better, May be 1 or 2 photo you can use in your Speech, if so , use chat Space to attach it
-->Use share screen to show a photo or PPT slide

7) How you can show power point to Viewers
--> open PowerPoint in presentation mode
--> Click the Share screen button and select the PPT tab
--> When using PPT, avoid small font & try to use as big as possible and legible (Slide optimal size)

8) To go to Virtual Stage
--> When highlighted green, you are ready to go on stage, so be watch full then switch on CAM & mic
--> Don’t focus on timing light window, try to focus on your Camera

Above are some of the point i have noticed during our meeting, If anything is wrong please correct me or you can add some more points
